Account Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Primary duty is to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service while managing the renewal process.

ACCOUNT MANAGER DUTIES:

  • Keep all accounts current; reflecting accurate information in our agency management system (Applied Epic)
  • Prepare and market renewal business according to market appetite
  • Work with Agents to target markets and negotiate pricing
  • Gather information (i.e., Equipment, driver, IFTA reports, financials, loss runs, etc.)
  • Order, analyze and approve/decline MVRs
  • Review and interpret client contracts to place coverage accordingly
  • Cross sell and account rounding out accounts
  • Complete submissions (via Acord forms and/or supplemental apps)
  • Update file and all systems accordingly (i.e. equipment & drivers)
  • Complete binding process for new business
  • Bind accounts within authority and/or submit bind to carrier
  • Set up accounts in CSR24 and complete certificates of insurance
  • Complete accurate billing(s) and taking payments
  • Assist clients and company with claims related inquiries
  • Handle telephone, email and in person requests and correspondence
  • Utilize discretion and independent judgment
  • Meet deadlines as established by agency and as business requires
  • Create and maintain good standing professional relationships
  • Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change

Requirements: P&C Insurance Licenses preferred
Job Type: Full-time, In-house
Compensation: Salaried with bonus potential

Agent

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Primary duty is to build relationships with clients; to identify and solicit sales prospects form various sources provided by the agency; and, to represent the company both professionally and respectfully.

AGENT DUTIES:

  • Keep all accounts current; reflecting accurate information in our agency management system (Applied Epic)
  • Identify and solicit sales prospects from various sources
  • Submit completed applications to various insurance companies for quotes
  • Prepare and present quote documents to customers
  • Meet with clients and make recommendations regarding their insurance needs
  • Cross sell and account rounding
  • Utilize discretion and independent judgment
  • Maintain good working relationships between various companies and other outside companies, agencies and organizations
  • Meet sales goals as established by Management
  • Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change

Requirements: P&C Insurance Licenses preferred
Compensation: Commission structure with bonus potential

Customer Service Representative

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Primary duty is to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service while managing day-to-day aspects of accounts.

CUSTOMER SERVICE DUTIES:

  • Keeping all accounts current with endorsements and accurate information in our agency management system (Applied Epic)
  • Prepare and submit endorsement requests
  • Update file accordingly (i.e. equipment & drivers) in all systems
  • Accurately process receipt of all endorsements
  • Correctly document all client activity & file attachments in Applied Epic
  • Order, analyze and approve/decline MVRs
  • Review and interpret client contracts to amend coverage accordingly
  • Issue Certificates of Insurance
  • Process cancellations & reinstatements timely and accurately
  • Understand billing structures to apply payments
  • Handle telephone, email and in person requests and correspondence
  • Assist clients and company with claims related inquiries
  • Utilize discretion and independent judgment
  • Meet deadlines as established by agency and as business requires
  • Maintain follow up items in a timely manner
  • Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change

Requirements: P&C Insurance Licenses preferred
